My client empowers businesses and property owners to integrate distributed renewable energy solutions. They drive the clean energy transition by offering cutting-edge approaches to onsite power generation and sustainable energy procurement.
The Role:
The role of National Account Manager will primarily focus on managing client relationships, drive sales, and ensure customer onboarding, retention, and compliance across our national commercial Embedded Network portfolio, optimizing engagement and business growth while collaborating with internal teams.
Key responsibilities include:
Serve as the main point of contact for commercial asset owners and managers. Develop and maintain strong client relationships by understanding needs and providing tailored energy solutions. Address client queries and concerns promptly to ensure high satisfaction. Communicate service updates, project developments, and industry changes to clients. Identify opportunities to enhance client offerings, including energy efficiency programs and renewable solutions. Oversee account performance and ensure client satisfaction with provided services. Manage service escalations and ensure timely issue resolution. Drive sales of energy services, products, and technologies within the embedded network. Build long-term relationships with embedded network customers and educate them on industry regulations and services Your Skills & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced qualifications or certifications in energy management or embedded networks will be an advantage. 8+ years of experience in account management, business development, or sales, preferably in embedded networks, energy retail, or related industries. In-depth understanding of energy retail, utility services, and the Australian energy market. Familiarity with commercial embedded networks, including shopping centres and industrial assets. Knowledge of commercial real estate management. Understanding of Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) such as PV solar and EV charging preferred. Knowledge of embedded network utility services (e.g., air conditioning, hot water) advantageous. Strong understanding of industry regulations, compliance standards, and energy retail billing structures. Experience in Embedded Networks and Energy Retail essential. Experience with Explicit Informed Consent Campaigns and Submissions to the Australian Energy Regulator highly desirable. Understanding of the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) Express Informed Consent (EIC) regulations and process Next Steps:
