About the Role
We have a great opportunity for Site Manager to join our Victoria team. As a key member of our Site team, you will be responsible for
* Prepare the site logistic plan including site amenities, housing, entry/exit traffic management, cranage, hoisting, security, and waste management.
* Ensure the effective, efficient and successful execution of delegated construction projects in line with Built Environs policies and procedures and as directed by the Project Manager
* Ensure that subcontractors complete their work in accordance with the scope of work and programme provided by the Project Manager.
* Obtain and review SWMS (safe work method statements) from subcontractors before they commence on site.
* Perform regular inspections on subcontractors work ensuring the work conforms to the specification, drawings and QA check sheets.
* Establish and maintain a total understanding of the requirements of all drawings and specifications including specialist trade contractor/supplier shop drawings.
* Together with the Project Coordinator ensure that the QA plan is implemented and monitored during the duration of the project.
* Assist in the overall project management by constant review of construction methods and site performance and coordination of trade contractors against planned activities and programmes.
* Prepare and update a look ahead programme including procurement schedules and communicate with the project team and subcontractors.

About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
* Minimum 7 years' experience managing commercial type projects.
* Relevant qualifications with broad knowledge of entire industry and process in order to relate to/with consultants, estimators, contract administrators, legal, councils and government, specialist contractors, union officials.
* Ability to identify risks and opportunities and human and technical resource needs for each project.
* Have a strong commitment to 'Home Without Harm.'
