Employment Type: Temporary Part Time (Contract until May 2027) Position Classification: Psychologist Remuneration: $113,617 - $138,482 per annum pro rata Hours Per Week: 16

About the role

Lismore Base Hospital Pain Clinic is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join the multidisciplinary team.

In this role, you will provide psychological services within the Clinical Psychologist scope of practice as defined in the Health and Community Employees Psychologists (State) Award, and in accordance with NSW Health legislative and policy requirements to ensure safe clinical practice and patient-centred outcomes.

The Pain Clinic is a specialised outpatient service supporting people living with persistent pain. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will deliver assessment, education and evidence-based psychological interventions that support patients to better understand the relationship between pain, thoughts, emotions and behaviour, and develop practical strategies to improve function, coping and quality of life.

This vacancy is maternity leave relief for an initial period up to May 2027 for 16 hours per week; the hours and period of employment may change according to the maternity leave requirements. There is also the possibility of an extension at same / reduced hours.
