Are you passionate about education, surf safety, and community impact? Do you thrive in dynamic environments where your training skills help save lives?

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Education and Training Supervisor to step into a vital role that supports the sustainability and strength of our clubs and members. In this role, you'll be the driving force behind delivering nationally accredited and non-accredited training programs that empower our surf lifesavers to protect Queensland's beaches. This role is based at our Cairns regional office in Smithfield.

What You'll Do:

* Develop, coordinate, and deliver key lifesaving education programs across the North Queensland region.
* Build strong partnerships with clubs and key stakeholders to the North Queensland region.
* Support the rollout of other exciting SLSQ programs in the North Queensland region.

About You:

Essential Qualifications & Skills:

* Current working with Children Blue Card (or ability to obtain).
* Current open driver's license.
* Experience with aXcelerate KMS.
* Knowledge of Surf Life Saving Education programs.
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110, TAE40116, or TAE40122—or working towards).
* Excellent written and verbal communication.
* Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
* Time management and organisational excellence.
* High-level computer literacy.
* Ability to attend meetings and deliver training on weeknights and weekends as required.

Desirable:

* Experience as a Trainer/Assessor with Surf Life Saving.
* SLSQ Bronze Medallion and/or Cert II in Public Safety (Aquatic Rescue).
* SLSQ operational awards (e.g. IRB Crew/Driver).
