**The Opportunity**
On behalf of a Federal Government Agency, we are looking for an **Assistant Director - Risk Advisory** to join the Risk Advisory team on a 12 month assignment. The role will be based in Geelong and will work a hybrid arrangement, Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week. This role is paying a daily rate of $602.55 per day plus Super.
The Risk Advisory team supports risks owners to identify and manage risks in their operating activities and strategic initiatives. The Assistant Director is required to coordinate and assume responsibility to undertake wide-ranging activities to assist in the assessment and management of risks within the Agency.
**Responsibilities will include;**
- Providing risk advice on emerging issues by leading and facilitating risk discussions and workshops
- Contribute towards achievement of annual risk implementation plan objectives
- Monitor and analyse trends in mitigating risks
- Undertake regular risk reviews
- Develop, maintain and implement risk policies, plans, frameworks and guidelines
**To be considered for this role you will demonstrate;**
- Experience in risk management disciplines in operational functions
- Experience in facilitating to senior executives and leading complex risk discussions
- Experience in drafting high level risk reports
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Leadership experience would be advantageous
