Job Title
The role of this position involves leading initiatives to enhance the efficiency, consistency, and impact of HR services. This includes planning and implementing process improvements across the employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct a comprehensive audit of existing policies to identify inconsistencies or compliance risks, develop and execute a structured change management plan to update and implement revised policies.
* Collaborate with Payroll and Finance teams to review current allowance structures, identify inconsistencies, and recommend standardization options.
* Review current employee benefits and entitlements, benchmark offerings against market standards and internal equity goals, develop proposals for harmonized benefit structures.
* Map the current end-to-end employee lifecycle, identifying gaps, inefficiencies or inconsistencies, design a streamlined and consistent lifecycle model from attraction to exit.
* Evaluate performance management practices and tools, develop a fit-for-purpose framework that supports regular feedback, development, and accountability.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
* 7+ years of experience in HR operations, ideally including roles in policy, transformation or strategy.
* Strong understanding of employment law and compliance standards.
* Demonstrated experience leading improvement or harmonization initiatives in a complex business environment.
This is a full-time position based in Brisbane. The ideal candidate will have strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including experience presenting recommendations to senior leaders.
