Job Title: Mechanical Technician
Cummins West Africa Limited is seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician to join our dynamic workshop team based in Bunbury, Western Australia.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering first-class service to our customers by completing repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products, diagnosing and repairing Cummins engines, engaging in engine rebuilding and reconditioning, and ensuring adherence to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation.
To succeed in this role, you will need a WA driver's license, Australian working rights, and a mechanical trades qualification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic, Mobile Plant Mechanic, or Light Vehicle with Heavy Diesel experience. Cummins experience is not required but engine experience is desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy diesel products to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
* Diagnostics and repair of Cummins engines to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
* Participate in engine rebuilding and reconditioning activities to extend the lifespan of our products.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
Requirements:
* Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
* WA driver's license and Australian working rights.
* Mechanical trades qualification (Heavy Diesel Mechanic, Mobile Plant Mechanic, or Light Vehicle with Heavy Diesel experience).
* Basic knowledge or experience with engine products.
