Key Responsibilities
* Process end-to-end payroll for (number) employees across multiple commercial contracts.
* Ensure all payroll data (hours, overtime, bonuses, commissions, and deductions) is accurate and submitted on time.
* Maintain compliance with HMRC regulations, statutory requirements, and company policies.
* Manage pension contributions, auto-enrolment, and holiday pay calculations.
* Reconcile payroll reports, journals, and audit trails.
* Respond promptly to payroll queries from employees, managers, and clients.
* Assist in reporting and analysis for finance and commercial teams.
* Support continuous improvement of payroll systems and procedures.
About You
* Previous experience in a commercial payroll environment (essential).
* Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation, tax codes, statutory payments, and pension requirements.
* High accuracy, strong numeracy skills, and great attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
* Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage competing priorities.
