Barnardos Australia is seeking a dedicated Practice Specialist - Compliance & Policy to join our Out-Of-Home-Care program based in Bruce, ACT 2617. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity to be part of a values-led organisation committed to making a real difference in the lives of children and families.

About the Role
As a Practice Specialist - Compliance & Policy, you will:

* Monitor and ensure compliance with contractual agreements, including regulatory requirements and service delivery standards.
* Conduct regular audits and reviews to assess compliance levels and implement corrective actions as necessary.
* Ensuring the Barnardos Case Management System (B-Hive) data is accurate, complete, and consistent across Barnardos ACT OoHC in-line with the ACT contractual requirements.
* Work closely with the B-Hive team to provide guidance and advice to data users on the proper use of the CMS system and to ensure consistent data management practices.
* Work closely with the case management team to support them in best practice.
* Draft, review, and revise policies and procedures in alignment with organisational objectives and regulatory requirements.

You’ll join a collaborative and supportive team delivering high-quality, trauma-informed services that uphold child safety, cultural safety, and family-led practice.

Skills and Experience :

* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as computer science, information technology, Public Policy, or a related field.
* Proven experience (5+ years) in compliance management, data governance, and/or policy development within the social services sector, preferably in OoHC.
* Strong understanding of relevant legislation, regulatory frameworks, and industry standards.
* Demonstrated high level of written and verbal communication skills, with an extra focus on accuracy and accountability.
* Demonstrated high level of computer literacy and data base navigation skills
* Demonstrated ability to work respectfully and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families, and communities, including a strong understanding of cultural safety, self-determination, and the historical and contemporary factors that impact Aboriginal peoples.

What’s on Offer:
* Base salary: $88,110 – $100,797 per annum (pro rata, if applicable) + 12% superannuation
* Salary packaging: Up to $15,860 tax-free (general living expenses
* Meal & entertainment packaging: Additional $2,650 tax-free per FBT year
