While the role is currently based in Wingfield, our new automated Fulfilment Centre will be opened in Edinburgh, SA by the end of the year.In this pivotal leadership role, you'll support the project transition from our old site to the new automated Fulfilment Centre bringing it up to full capacity.
Once in BAU you will oversee Inbound, Order Fulfilment, Replenishment and Despatch operations, ensuring safety, service excellence, financial performance, and team capability across a large, diverse workforce operating six days a week.You'll champion continuous improvement, optimise operational performance, and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver outstanding outcomes for our pharmacy partners, Priceline network, and broader Wesfarmers Health business.Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Lead and coach a large operational team, fostering a culture of safety, wellbeing, and high performancePlan and manage daily operations to meet safety, service, financial and people targetsDrive hazard identification, risk control, and compliance with all safety systems and audit requirementsBuild capability, manage performance, and support succession planning across the siteEnsure operational excellence through customer focused processes, continuous improvement, and effective issue resolutionMonitor and improve productivity, service KPIs, forecast accuracy and DIFOT performanceManage commercial outcomes including budgeting, resource planning and cost controlSupport and champion change initiatives, Lean practices, and continuous improvement programsCollaborate with internal teams, external partners, unions, suppliers and transport providersWhat you'll bring:Extensive experience in Supply Chain, with at least 5 years in leadership rolesProven experience managing large operational teams in fast paced environmentsStrong people leadership, coaching capability and performance management experienceDemonstrated ability to make sound decisions and drive operational outcomesExperience in optimisation, change management and continuous improvementHigh level understanding of warehouse systems and IT platformsStrong communication skills with the ability to influence at all levelsCustomer focused mindset and ability to build strong working relationshipsHigh attention to detail, strong time management and the ability to work autonomouslyEmotional intelligence, resilience, and a commitment to team developmentWhy us?
