ICT Contract Manager Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled ICT Contract Manager to join our team and play a key role in strengthening the department's Protective Security.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in high-value, complex procurement and contract activities that contribute to the department's overall security objectives.
* Engage with internal and external stakeholders to negotiate and persuade on complex procurement matters, respond to enquiries and identify alternative courses of action to ensure resolution.
* Deliver procurement-related documentation, including tender documents, schedules, correspondence, reports, submissions, plans and strategies, risk and performance reviews, contract change proposals and other contract management documentation.
* Apply legal principles, legislative and policy compliance obligations, and commercial risk and performance requirements related to the Commonwealth Procurement Framework.
* Manage financial aspects, including purchase order processing, forecasting and tracking of project expenditure.
* Ensure accurate completion of work within agreed timeframes and quality requirements, share expertise with others, guide and mentor less experienced employees.
* Monitor and manage contract administration, performance and risks against the contract and contribute to appropriate action.
