Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Waste Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of operating plant equipment such as backhoes and forklifts, with relevant competencies and experience in manual laboring.
About the Role:
* Operate allocated plant items safely and effectively within all WHS and legal requirements
* Sort waste to achieve resource recovery and remove unsuitable waste from designated streams
* Work across plant operation, manual floor work, and customer service at the weighbridge
Key Requirements:
* Demonstrated safe operation of frontend loader/backhoe to a 'self load' capability standard when required, and WorkCover accreditation
* Manual laboring experience and safe handling techniques
* Communication skills and customer facing experience
