Role Type: Part Time (0.6/ 3 days a week), Ongoing
Salary: $79,000.00 - $121,000 Plus Super (Based on Qualifications and teaching experience)
Are you passionate about empowering Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander learners through culturally responsive education? Preference will be given to candidates who identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, or who have strong alliances and experience working closely with Indigenous communities.
Join our close-knit team at Fulham Correctional Centre and make a meaningful impact as an Indigenous Education Teacher (Mumgu-dhal program). In this role, you will deliver transformative learning experiences that honour culture, build confidence, and support rehabilitation.
What We're Looking For
* Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40110 / TAE40116 / TAE40122) or currently working towards
* Strong understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories, and contemporary issues.
* Demonstrated experience working with Koorie communities or in culturally inclusive settings (education settings preferable).
* Teaching experience, preferably amongst Indigenous communities.
