With flexibility to work from home, you will report to our Executive Director – Strategic Advisory and enjoy active mentorship from our business leaders and company principals.
You are an energetic and dynamic individual who will uphold an unwavering commitment to customer service and professionalism to represent hotel owners' interests, ensuring the attainment of their desired investment outcomes.
The day-to-day of the role includes:
Developing and overseeing the achievement of strategic asset management and business plans tailored to each client hotel.
Scrutinising financial statements, analysing value drivers against budgets, forecasts, industry and competitor benchmarks.
Conducting meetings with hotel owners and managers to assess trading performance, compliance and pinpointing areas for improved owner returns, activation or revenue generation.
Delivering monthly and quarterly reports to clients, offering well-crafted commentary and analysis on key performance indicators, along with strategic advice to support sales and marketing efforts.
Proactively identifying and managing risk and compliance and assisting in the design and implementation of mitigation strategies.
Ensuring the timely achievement of contractual milestones through effective project management for refurbishment, brand conversion or hotel pre-opening phases.
Maintaining a close working relationship with hotel General Manager's, department heads and hotel staff, ensuring operational excellence and best practice across all property departments.
Fostering active communication with industry stakeholders (including valuers, legal, accountants, financiers, project managers, building contractors, accommodation managers/operators, architects and interior designers) on behalf of clients.
Representing Gatehouse at relevant industry forums locally, regionally and national.

Being actively involved in hotel developments and brand conversions in diverse locations from the ground up.
Actively representing owners' interests in stakeholder meetings as well as operational reviews.
Seeing a project from conception to completion.
Occasional regional and interstate travel to client sites.
Being part of a trusted and respected team that delivers and oversees globally renowned hotels.
Representing Gatehouse internally and externally, including attendance at relevant industry forums locally, regionally and nationally.
Could this be you?
This is a specialist role suiting an adaptable individual with diverse hotel management experience across operational, financial, investment and development aspects.
Ideally you will have a consistent track record of achievement (of at least 5 years' experience) with a global hotel management company or consultancy.
You will be able to demonstrate that you have:
A client-centric approach with a high degree of persistence and patience to seek out improved solutions.
Vast hotel operational management expertise within branded and third-party settings.
An engaging leadership style to collaborate and bring the best out of hotel departmental heads and varied stakeholders.
Highly numerate and proficient with advanced skills in MS Excel.
Ability to juggle competing priorities and meet deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
Strong organisational and project management skills.
Ability to deliver well-honed business reports and written client presentations.
Ability to identify and successfully manage the delivery of contractual obligations.
Passion for using technology and digital tools to improve the way businesses communicate.
