Your Role
Chanel College, Gladstone are looking to employ a highly motivated IT Officer to join their IT Department in a term-time continuing role. This is a term-time position (38hpw), for an immediate commencement or as negotiated with the successful applicant.
Typical duties include, but are not limited to:
* Practice confidentiality in relation to all aspects of the role
* Within a variety of routines, methods and procedures, maintain the hardware and software components of a computer network.
* Work from the IT office, ensure that the IT office is staffed during student opening hours to provide helpdesk assistance with a high level of support for staff and students regarding ICT issues and assess situation to decide pathway of management.
* Provide support to staff in the use of Google and address issues with student google accounts.
* Provide diagnosis of problems and repairs to workstation peripheral devices and hardware within the school and provide on call user support to administration staff and teachers and students in the computing laboratories.
* Liaise with computer repair companies and the College Finance Office staff regarding repairs for both staff laptops and student Notebooks when required.
* Provide ongoing support on connectivity to TVs and wireless network.
