McArthur are currently seeking applications from experienced Policy Officers to take on several roles with our government client.
The roles are available for an immediate start and are until st December, 2.
As part of these roles, duties and responsibilities will include the following:
Senior Policy Officers
Supporting the implementation of improvements to regulatory functions, particularly in the areas of worker regulation, quality assessment and monitoring and monitoring and investigations.
Developing policy and operational documents for consideration by other team members
Preparing and reviewing guidance material on policy and procedural changes
Researching and drafting briefing documents for a range of audiences about policy issues
Providing policy advice on relevant legislation, standards and industry information.

Sound judgement and analytical skills and the ability to understand legislation and support the development of sound policy and guidance; work effectively as a team member, and with internal and external stakeholders, to accomplish organisational goals; highly developed verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate information coherently and concisely to a diverse audience; organisational and time management skills and the ability to work autonomously.
