We are looking for a Cert III qualified person with at least 6 months experience in a similar role, to join the Silverchain team in the Blacktown area.

Award rate $42.28 per hour + Super + paid KM's
Casual roles with a view to permanent part time positions.

What we're looking for
We are looking for people who enjoy having variety in their day, can build positive relationships with clients and their families, and care about assisting our aged community members to live independently at home for longer.
In addition, you will need:
 * A valid Australian Driver's Licence & your own insured, roadworthy vehicle.
 * Certificate III or above in Aged Care or Individual Support or Disability.
 * Experience of 6 months or more in a similar role that includes personal care, manual handling, hoist training and assisting with medications.
The role
In the role of Home Care Worker, you will be providing our aged care clients with home help services, such as:
 * General housekeeping and making beds.
 * Cleaning, mopping and vacuuming floors.
 * Washing, folding and ironing laundry.
 * Meal preparation and grocery shopping.
 * Providing social support and transport to lifestyle activities.
 * Helping the family carer to have a break or an opportunity to do other things.
