* Level C: $148,771 - $167,785 (pro-rata) + 17% Superannuation

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Lecturer: Indigenous Health (Clinical) to contribute to the teaching and learning of Indigenous Health within the University of Wollongong's medical curriculum. The role will support the development, review and implementation of high quality teaching and learning materials, with a primary focus on Phase 3 of the Doctor of Medicine (MD) program.

About You

You are eligible for unconditional general or specialist registration in NSW and bring experience in Indigenous Health teaching and clinical practice, including work in regional and/or rural settings. You have experience teaching medical students and developing clinical learning resources and you enjoy supporting and mentoring students. You communicate well, are organised and committed to culturally safe, respectful and inclusive practice.

Special Job Requirements

* This is an Identified position. The University of Wollongong (UOW) considers that being an Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander is a genuine occupational qualification for this position under s14 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 (NSW).
* Eligibility for unconditional general or specialist registration as a medical practitioner within NSW along with recent clinical /professional practice.

*Continuing Contingent: Refer to section 21 of the University of Wollongong (Academic Staff) Enterprise Agreement, 2023: This position forms part of an external funding agreement. Should funding cease and not be renewed the continuing appointment may be terminated on the basis of the contingency.
