Store Manager – Gyprock (Brookvale, NSW)

About the role
Full‐time position based at Brookvale, NSW. Reporting to the Area Manager, you will join our Gyprock business and assist in customer service, sales, warehouse duties and lead the team.
Responsibilities
* Champion a safety‐first culture within the factory, pursuing a zero‐harm environment and the Never Walk Past principle.
* Manage sales and operation activities of the store.
* Ensure the store meets budget, including reviewing areas of potential improvement.
* Promote and manage catalogue sales and campaigns to grow category sales and maintain margin.
* Maintain effective relationships with customers and suppliers.
* Work with Inventory and State Manager to ensure inventory is executed in line with national direction and improvement opportunities are identified.
* Ensure compliance with retail ready standards and behaviours including housekeeping, merchandising and presentation.
* Monitor and coach employees under your direct supervision, ensuring performance and training/development plans are achieved.
* Forklift licence is desirable, willingness to obtain.
Work Hours
Monday – Friday 6:00am – 3:00pm. Saturdays rotating fortnightly (or as required) 7:00am – 11:00am.
