The Department of Communities brings together the services and functions of disability services, child protection and family support, community initiatives and regional services reform.

About Priority Initiatives Directorate

The Priority Initiatives Directorate was established to provide a dedicated area where priority reform work outside of business-as-usual activities could be focused on with a view to implement and operationalise changes to improve frontline service delivery and enhance integration capabilities within Communities. Priority Initiatives Directorate role is to also coordinate and align project development and delivery across the Child Protection and Family Support Division.

The Opportunities

As a Level 6 Senior Project Officer, you will provide project coordination and support for significant projects and large programs of work to facilitate service and operational improvements, and successful project and outcomes delivery. As a Level 7 Principal Policy and Project Officer, you will be responsible for project managing key reforms and projects, including scoping and implementing identified priorities, developing strategic policy and practice, service design and implementation.
