This individual will implement all marketing and referral/sales activities and be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the sales functions.Responsibilities:Develops, maintains, and coordinates the implementation of strategic sales plansAssists CEO in program expansion for multi-site developmentProvide leadership for the Marketing Representatives and Marketing Support Coordinator by role modeling behaviors of acceptable PACE sales and enrollment processesHires, trains, promotes, and provides technical oversight to departmental staffAssists in the annual budget planning process; manages and develops departmental budgetWorks collaboratively with multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement programs that advance customer service and satisfactionEstablishes and maintains community involvement with social service agencies, senior centers, senior housing, medical centers, home care agencies, and other providersContributes to the initial Participant plan of care and documents in the medical record; may attend team meetings; communicates Participant changes and issues to the multidisciplinary team as appropriateIs a member of the leadership team, participating in and contributing to the Management team, Quality Council, and other forums which develop organizational strategy and planningDoes not participate in any marketing practices which are prohibited by PACE regulations (§460.82): a) discrimination of any kind, excepting age; b) activities that could mislead or confuse potential participants or misrepresent the PACE organization, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and/or the Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services; c) provide gifts or payments of any form to induce enrollment; d) contracting outreach efforts to individuals or organizations solely for enrollment purposes; e) unsolicited door-to-door marketingAssists in the development of policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance for the PACE programIn conjunction with human resources, has hiring, firing, and performance review responsibilitiesMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field (master’s degree preferred).Minimum of five years experience in the development and implementation of marketing/public relations or business development, preferably in a healthcare environmentCurrent Ohio driver’s license and reliable car requiredPublic speaking and presentation skills; strong communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:Experience working in home or community-based health/social services organization, preferredExperience working with older adults, especially those with dementia, desirableBasic proficiency in Windows, Word, PowerPoint, and CRM required; database/spreadsheet applications desirableKnowledge of Medicare and Medicaid criteria highly desirableSeniority levelDirectorEmployment typeFull-timeIndustriesNon-profit Organizations
