Your Opportunity: Are you an experienced Estimator looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team in Cairns for a 3-month contract, with the potential for extension. Experience in the building and construction industry is highly regarded. Key Responsibilities: Prepare high-quality tender and quotation documentation for building projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements. Use estimating software to produce consistent and accurate client quotations. Assess and prepare precise estimates, quotations, and project trade packages, including material lists and construction programs. Contribute to the research and development of best practices in estimating, costing, and contract administration. Collaborate effectively with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to enhance service delivery and achieve cost efficiencies. About You Proven experience in an Estimator role, preferably within the building/construction industry. Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate cost estimates and quotations. Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office Suite. Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise with various stakeholders. Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
