Your contribution to the team
Responsibilities
Collaborate, support and monitor individual development plans for players to support them throughout their careers
Triage players requiring medical support to medical and psychology practitioners and specialists as needed
Implementation of a whole of club AFLW Player Development and Wellbeing Strategy, informed by the AFL Industry Mental Health and Wellbeing Strategy
Provide support, guidance and strategies to assist players with balancing football requirements with work and personal commitments, while collaborating with other departments and club partners to support player goals and engagement
Facilitate health promotion, educational and personal development activities for players that will run in pre-season and in season
Work closely with the AFL and AFLPA to align opportunities for players (i.e. career and education programs, scholarships)
Coordinate and support Player and Parents inductions, including player relocation entitlements in line with the players CBA
Skills And Experience
Experience working in Women's Sport
Certificate IV in health science, education, behaviour, social science, psychology field, or related field
Mental Health First Aid & SAFE Talk trained
ASSIST trained
Willingness to complete AFLPA Executive Certificate in Player Development (or demonstration of commitment to have completed by end of ****)
