Job Description
The Learning and Development Business Partner plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of our community by delivering Council's training programs, systems, and projects. This position partners with the business to implement innovative learning activities alongside a dedicated People & Culture team.
Main Responsibilities:
* Developing the Learning Management System to facilitate seamless employee training and development
* Coordinating training programs to cater to diverse business needs
* Managing skills audits to identify areas for improvement and growth
* Designing online training modules that engage employees and enhance knowledge retention
* Maintaining data accuracy to inform strategic decisions
Additional Duties:
* Coordinating training requests, both planned and ad-hoc, to meet business demands
* Delivering online induction programs for new employees to ensure a smooth onboarding experience
* Overseeing Apprenticeship and Traineeship programs and work experience placements to nurture talent and develop skills
* Engaging external training providers as required to access specialized expertise
* Managing staff training records for currency and accuracy
* Contributing to employee recognition programs and initiatives to foster a positive work environment
* Collating employee and organisational metrics to inform corporate decision-making and workforce planning
* Developing and implementing HR operational and administrative systems, processes, and procedures to improve service delivery
