Silverstrand is seeking experienced Site Engineer to become a key part in shaping the future of our business alongside an experienced team. Initially local SEQ projects with the view to go to a future FIFO project. Base Salary Super Vehicle KPI Bonus Scheme About the role: Reporting to the Project Manager. Ensuring that the project works are completed safely and in compliance with Company and our client’s procedures, engineering drawings/ specifications, budgets and timeframes Prepare, monitor and update plans and working to weekly and monthly programs Provide engineering and technical advice to the project team Assist with Procurement of key subcontractors and suppliers Ensuring quality requirements are being met Programming and planning of the works Compiling 4 week lookaheads on labour, plant, scope, etc Identify and work with site team to mitigate any risks to project delivery Coordinate relevant subcontractor progress payment claims and communicate any variations or issues and provide resolutions Coordinate approvals for any subcontract variations including notification of any delays or extension of time required Working alongside Supervisor's to ensure best project delivery practices Essential Skills and Experience: Civil Engineering Degree or similar 2 years’ experience as an engineer on civil infrastructure projects Ability to read and understand civil, structural and services drawings Manage and raise technical queries Knowledge of construction scheduling and sequencing Understanding of Quality Control Systems Excellent safety record from previous projects What’s on offer: Competitive salary based on the successful candidate’s experience Work vehicle Paid Birthday Day off A permanent position with a growing civil construction company Career progression Sponsorship is available for the right candidate About Us: Silverstrand is a privately owned company that provides high-quality civil engineering and construction services across Australia and New Zealand.
