About the Role
As an Enrolled Nurse you will be responsible for providing outpatient assessment and health promotion services to patients, under the supervision of the Registered Nurse. You will assess the level of care required for patients and set priorities accordingly, as well as initiating treatment for minor injuries and illnesses.
Qualifications
* The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour.
* Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2), General with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* 2 years full‐time post‐registration nursing experience within the last 5 years (or part‐time equivalent), in an acute care, primary healthcare, or military setting.
* Recent participation in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities in accordance with AHPRA.
* Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification.
* The ability to work independently as well as part of a team to support the delivery of safe, efficient and high‐quality care to patients.

ACT Health Centre
ACT houses Department of Defence Headquarters, Airforce Headquarters and Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA) which is a tri‐service military academy. The ACT Health Centre opened mid‐2021 and is a large facility. It services approximately 7,000 military personnel, including trainee officers from both ADFA and Royal Military College. There is a 24‐bed low dependency ward which operates 24/7. Services provided include primary medical, aviation & underwater medical, nursing, dental, mental health, pharmaceutical and physiotherapy. Defence Force Recruitment for medical officers is in addition to health centre roles. Standard hours of operation are generally 0700‐1630 Monday to Friday (depending on role requirements and specific craft groups required for weekend and on‐call shifts).
