Smoke Alarm Testing Services (SATS) is a professional smoke alarm testing company that is locally owned and operated. We have been protecting homes across Australia and New Zealand for over 13 years, working on behalf of Real Estate Agents and Landlords to make sure that their properties are compliant with state legislation. We are a fun and energetic team looking for a local electrician in the Ballina/ Northern Rivers region to help protect homes in the area. We pride ourselves on quality, innovation and customer service, and will provide you with the tools and training required to be successful in the role.
To be successful, you will join as part of a team that works independently yet is part of a larger organisation, focusing on keeping homes safe with working smoke alarms.
To be successful, you will have:
Responsibilities (implied)
- Install and maintain smoke alarms in residential rental properties (core focus).
- Work to ensure compliance with state legislation.
- Report via tablet device for job-related updates and documentation.
Qualifications
- A current Electrical Licence (mandatory).
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Willingness to travel and stay overnight as required (regional or interstate).
- Be presentable, well-spoken and take pride in the position.
- Fit and able to climb ladders several times per day.
- Ability to use a tablet device for reporting purposes.
- Note: a Federal Police Check will be conducted prior to commencement.
