About the role
We are seeking a highly capable Contracts Administrator – Billing & Claims to take ownership of the end-to-end billing and cash collection process across our crane and project operations.
This is a critical role within the business, responsible for ensuring all work performed is accurately captured, invoiced on time, and converted to cash.
You will work closely with operations, project teams, and clients to manage progress claims, operational invoicing, and debtor management across multiple business units.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and submit progress claims, variations, and contract-based invoicing
* Manage Mobile Crane billing from work dockets, ensuring all hire and labour is captured
* Oversee service invoicing via ServiceM8
* Identify and resolve short payments, discrepancies, and disputes
* Proactively manage accounts receivable and collections
* Track contract billing schedules
* Work closely with operations to ensure no revenue is missed
* Process new customer accounts and manage credit control
* Support payroll (secondary responsibility)
About You
* Strong experience in construction, cranes, hire, or project-based environments
* Strong understanding of progress claims, variations, and contract billing
* Confident managing debtor follow-ups and resolving payment issues
* Experience with systems such as Payapps, Xero, or similar
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Able to work cross-functionally with operations and management
