We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer who will be responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing support of the IT and Operational Technology (OT) systems across enterprise environments.

You will be designing and supporting secure, high-performance infrastructure, providing senior technical escalation, managing system lifecycles, and ensuring reliable operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and implement complex IT and OT infrastructure solutions.
* Act as a subject matter expert across systems, compute, and storage platforms.
* Deliver infrastructure projects within agreed timelines and requirements.
* Provide senior escalation support for complex technical issues.
* Maintain high availability of critical systems through monitoring and support.
* Ensure solutions comply with standards, policies, and security requirements.
* Support and improve cybersecurity controls across environments.
* Create and maintain technical documentation and procedures.
* Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
* Drive continuous improvement, automation, and service reliability.
Key Requirements
* 5+ years' experience in systems engineering or infrastructure support.
* Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and Microsoft 365.
* Experience with VMware, Hyper‐V, and Windows/Linux servers.
* Experience supporting core services such as Active Directory, backup, and disaster recovery.
* Knowledge of automation tools such as Ansible, SCCM/MECM, or Terraform.
* Scripting skills in PowerShell and/or Bash.
* Relevant certifications (e.g. Microsoft, VMware, Linux) desirable.
* Understanding of ITSM tools and ITIL processes.
* Experience in hybrid IT/OT or critical infrastructure environments preferred.
* Australian Citizenship with ability to obtain NV1 Security Clearance.
