We are hiring friendly, reliable people in Canberra to support older clients through the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP).
This is meaningful, community-based work helping older people remain safe, independent, and connected in their own homes.
For the right applicant, there is potential for immediate progression into a Team Leader role, supporting staff, service quality, and local operations.

Your Day Will Include
Support Worker Duties
* Light household cleaning and domestic assistance
* Transporting clients to appointments and social outings
* Following simple processes, checklists, and service schedules
* Providing friendly, respectful, and reliable support
Team Leader Responsibilities (Progression Opportunity)
* Supporting and mentoring local support workers
* Assisting with onboarding and buddy shifts for new starters
* Monitoring service quality and CHSP compliance
* Acting as a point of contact between field staff and the admin team
* Helping ensure services run smoothly in the local area

About You
* Caring, reliable, with a positive attitude
* Own phone, car, and valid driver's licence
* Comfortable working independently with older clients
* Available at least 2 weekdays
* Strong communication skills with leadership capability
Mandatory & Additional Requirements
• Police Check
• Working With Vulnerable People Check (ACT)
• Current First Aid HLTAID011 (within 3 years)
• Current CPR HLTAID009 (within 12 months)
(or willingness to obtain both within 3 months of employment at own cost)
Please Note:
This is a daytime-only role, Monday to Friday.
No weekend or night shifts.
