About the role
WITRON Service Australia (PTY) Ltd. is a leading provider of highly automated logistic systems. As an Operator Maintainer in our new air‐conditioned facility in Redbank, Queensland, you will be part of a cross‐functional team responsible for the operation, maintenance, and improvement of automated material handling equipment.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor, operate and troubleshoot faults in automated material handling equipment in a fast‐paced production environment.
* Resolve machine faults using logical problem‐solving techniques, including working at heights of up to 30 metres while adhering to safety protocols.
* Interpret and maintain fault information accurately using literacy, numeracy and IT skills.
* Maintain high standards of housekeeping and hygiene.
* Collaborate with the maintenance team to keep equipment in optimal condition and report any anomalies promptly.
* Adhere to all safety guidelines to ensure a secure working environment for all staff.
Qualifications & Experience
* Electrical licence (preferred in Queensland) or equivalent mechanical/maintenance qualifications such as Electrician, Fitter & Turner, Diesel Mechanic, or related background.
* Strong electrical skills (3‐Phase, 415V, DC, 24V controls) and/or mechanical skills (preventative maintenance, breakdowns on conveyors, belts, rollers, cranes, bearings).
* Experience in preventative maintenance highly desired.
* Current CPR/LVR (within 12 months).
* Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Commitment to safety and proactive safety attitude.
* Genuine interest in automation and technology, with aptitude to learn new concepts and procedures.
* Ability to identify colors such as red, blue, white, yellow and green.
Physical Requirements
* Frequent walking, climbing, squatting, kneeling, and standing for long periods of time.
* Working at heights of up to 30 metres (wearing fall‐arrest gear and other PPE).
* Lifting, pulling and pushing up to 25kg unassisted.
Location
