Job Description
- Support the Principal Investment team across the full investment lifecycle, including deal execution, portfolio management, and value creation
- Lead financial modelling (DCF, LBO, comps) and support due diligence processes
- Prepare investment committee materials and assist with transaction structuring and execution
- Source and evaluate investment opportunities and conduct industry/company research
- Monitor portfolio company performance and assist with board reporting and strategic initiatives
- Identify new investment themes and maintain relationships with advisors, intermediaries, and co-investors
- Support investor reporting and collaborate with legal, tax, and operations teams
- Apply commercial judgement and manage multiple stakeholders effectively
- Contribute to strategic initiatives and portfolio value creation plans
- Develop skills in financial analysis, transaction execution, and private markets investing
The Successful Applicant
- A 2-5 years\' experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate advisory, or strategy consulting
- Strong ability to build and manage complex financial models (DCF, LBO, comps)
- Undergraduate degree in Finance or Business; professional designation (CFA, CAIA, CPA, or CA) preferred
- Strong commercial judgement and decision-making skills
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and execution-focused
- Effective communication and collaboration with multiple stakeholders
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced workplace
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to take ownership of tasks
- Interest in private markets and direct investing
- Ability to contribute to portfolio management and value creation initiatives
