Disability Support Workers (Multiple Positions)
Provide person-centred support to NDIS participants to build independence, confidence, and meaningful community connection, in line with individual goals and support plans.
Complete Choice supports people (including those with psychosocial disability) in community settings and offers services such as Community Participation, Housing supports (SIL/MTA/STA/Respite), Travel Assistance, Personal Care, Household Tasks, Community Nursing and Behaviour Support.

Task & Responsibilities
Provide personalized support and assistance to individuals with disabilities in their daily activities, ensuring their safety, dignity, and independence.
Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and medication management, in accordance with their individual care plans.
Foster positive relationships with clients, families, and carers, promoting inclusion, respect, and empowerment.
Facilitate community participation and engagement for clients, including accompanying them to appointments, social outings, and recreational activities.
Support clients in developing life skills, independence, and self-confidence through tailored interventions and goal setting.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions, progress, and any incidents or concerns, in compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including allied health professionals, to ensure holistic and coordinated support for clients.
Uphold the rights and dignity of individuals with disabilities, advocating for their needs and preferences in all aspects of care and support.
Qualification & Experience
Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent qualification.
Demonstrated 1 year or more experience working in the disability support sector, preferably in a community-based setting.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients, families, and colleagues.
Compassionate and empathetic approach towards supporting individuals with diverse needs.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a dynamic environment.
