This position will be located at Alexander Beetle House in Burnie. You will support both our Long Day Care centre and our Outside School Hours services in the Burnie area.
About the role
We are seeking an experienced and exceptional customer service professional to join our Burnie team as a part‑time Administration Officer. The role will primarily provide efficient and effective administrative support for Discovery staff and families, including reception duties such as greeting and farewelling families, answering phone calls and email inquiries, general accounts work, record keeping and clerical duties to support the daily operation of an early childhood education and care service.
This is a permanent part‑time position, working 24 hours per week, Wednesday to Friday.
You must have
* Previous administration and/or customer service experience
* Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People Registration – or willingness to obtain
* Commitment to Discovery's child‑safe culture and willingness to undergo an extensive screening process prior to appointment
