* Approx. $110-140/hour | 12M + 12M - Multi-year, Long-term Contract Opportunities
This is a contract role within Federal Government. You must be an Australian Citizen to be considered.
The Automation Test Engineers will embed effective test automation technologies, practices and execution across a suite of new leading-edge strategic technology solutions being delivered by the organisation, including cloud hosted platforms, Mobile applications, CRM portals and more. Automated testing of Salesforce solutions will be a core component of your role. Working closely with the Test Manager, the Automation Tester will work within a Scrum team to establish and integrate test automation within the Scrum workflow and build processes. You have an integral role in the team, driving quality and efficiency.
The Senior Automation Test Engineers will also be relied upon to evaluate, recommend and drive test automation technology selection and strategy (including framework selection and coding language).
Key Skills, Experience and Attributes…
* Experience building and executing automated test regimes as part of a DevOps team using CI/CD methodologies.
* Expert "hands-on" technical proficiency with UI functional automation using tools such as Playwright, Selenium WebDriver and BDD frameworks like Cucumber and experience using continuous integration tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, and building automation test pipelines.
* Skilled in testing REST API using Postman, testing Salesforce and MuleSoft based solutions, and writing automation scripts for REST API tests.
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computing Science or Mathematics or another relevant technical field.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a test automation role.
* Passion for driving quality through testing and automation.
* Ability to communicate clearly.
* Analytical approach, attention to detail, and ability to work with a high degree of role autonomy and "can do" attitude.
* Comfortable with new ways of thinking about accessibility and enthusiastic about accessible design & development will be highly regarded.
