Personal Care Assistant Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to promote a positive and safe environment for residents. The successful candidate will take an active role in getting to know our residents and their families, and undertake documentation to the highest standard.
About the Position
The Personal Care Assistant will provide quality resident-focused care utilising a person-centred approach and in accordance with care plans, Aged Care Standards, and policies/procedures. You will also be responsible for providing accurate and timely documentation relevant to resident care, working in consultation with other staff to provide relevant and timely information, and maintaining a flexible availability during evening, overnight, and weekend shifts.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality care to residents in accordance with individual care plans
* Develop and maintain effective relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
* Contribute to a collaborative team environment by participating in meetings and sharing knowledge and expertise
Requirements
* Certificate III or IV in Aged Care
* NDIS Clearance
