Location: Burnie & Wynyard
Trade Assistant Key Responsibilities
* Production duties such as welding, forklift operation, pressure cleaning, assisting tradesman where required
* Operating tools and workshop equipment
* Supporting fabrication, maintenance, and general workshop duties
* Maintaining a clean and secure work area
Trade Assistant Requirements
* Minimum 5 years workshop experience (essential)
* Valid forklift licence (mandatory)
* Ability to work days or afternoon shift
* Strong mechanical aptitude
* Ability to work independently and within a team
* Commitment to workplace health & safety with great eye for detail
Paint & Blast Labourer Key Responsibilities
* Surface preparation and abrasive blasting
* Assisting with industrial painting tasks
* Handling materials and supporting workshop operations with an eye for detail
* Maintaining equipment and ensuring safety compliance
Paint & Blast Labourer Requirements
* Valid forklift licence (mandatory)
* Abrasive blasting experience highly regarded
* Ability to work afternoon shift
* Previous experience in painting/blasting or similar environments (preferred)
* Physically fit and capable of manual tasks
* Strong attention to detail and safety
