The Role
We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious individuals to join our team as a Plant Operator on a full-time permanent basis at our Esperance Terminal.
This frontline role plays a major part in our supply chain working with Growers, Contractors and Team members to sustainably create and return value to Growers. Our Operations can run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Roster: 4:4 (shift patterns consisting of four 12-hour days, sliders and nights)
Responsibilities include:
* Grain sampling, receivals and plant hygiene
* Control room operations
* Fumigation management as well as preparing grain for shipping whilst at all times focussing on safety, quality assurance and continuous improvement.
* Physically, the role involves bending, stretching, climbing ladders, some computer data entry, and working in confined spaces, at heights and in a hot and dusty environment.
* Potential IC work included during harvest periods
About You:
* Experience working in a team-focused environment in the grain handling industry
* Basic computer skills
* Possession of FEL, EWP, MR or HR tickets/license highly advantageous
* Ability to work at heights, confined spaces and in dusty environments
Any offer of employment will be subject to the outcome of pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing. To be successful in this role, you will need to reside in Esperance or in a nearby area.
