The Oaks Ranch is a newly refurbished, Mediterranean-inspired boutique property located between Broulee and Mossy Point.
With a strong focus on warm hospitality, memorable stays, and premium service, we're looking for an energetic and polished Hotel Receptionist / Guest Service Agent to join our front-of-house team.
About the Role
As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the first point of contact for guests and play a key role in shaping their entire experience.
This role suits someone who is personable, organised, and thrives in a guest-focused environment.
You will be responsible for:
Welcoming and checking in hotel guests
Handling phone and email enquiries
Managing reservations and guest requests
Coordinating with housekeeping and restaurant teams
Processing payments and daily reconciliation
Assisting with wedding, event, and restaurant bookings
Providing local knowledge and personalised recommendations
Ensuring smooth, seamless guest experiences from arrival to departure
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in hotel reception, guest services, or similar customer-facing role
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Professional presentation and a warm, confident manner
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Experience with hotel PMS systems (preferred but not essential)
A genuine passion for hospitality and guest care
Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a team
Roster & Hours
4 days per week
Rotating roster
Every second weekend required (alternate weekends off)
Mix of morning and afternoon shifts depending on occupancy and events
