About the Role
We are seeking a caring and passionate Care Support Professional to join our team in St Marys, NSW.
This is a casual position that involves providing high-quality care and assistance to clients with disabilities, supporting their independence and dignity.
* Providing personal care and support with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
* Accompanying clients to appointments, social activities, and community events.
* Assisting with mobility, transfers, and the use of equipment as needed.
* Monitoring client wellbeing and reporting any changes or concerns.
* Advocating for clients and collaborating with allied health professionals.
* Promoting independence, choice, and control for clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A Certificate III or IV in Disability, Aged Care, or a related field.
* Experience in providing person-centered support to people with disabilities, mental health conditions, or complex needs.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport and trust with clients.
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference.
* A current driver's license and access to a vehicle (desirable).
* A positive, solution-focused attitude with the ability to work independently and in a team.
