The Opportunity
KBR is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) from highly skilled and experienced defence Capture Managers to lead the process of winning new business opportunities for the company.
As a KBR Capture Manager, you will be responsible for creating discriminating value propositions for KBR customers, developing and executing strategies to secure contracts, managing diverse teams, and collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders.
Note: this EOI will be used to talent pool for any future Capture Manager requirements. Suitable applicants will be contacted once a live position arises.
Responsibilities
- Win Strategy Development: Develop and implement win strategies, competitive intelligence portfolios, teaming strategies, customer assessments and all elements of captures to maximise probability-of-win.
- Team Leadership: Leading cross-functional teams, including subject matter experts, solution architects, engineers, commercial and finance staff, and business development personnel.
- Proposal Management: Partnering with the Proposal Management team to oversee the development of compelling proposals, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, and managing the bid process.
- Relationship Management: Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensuring adherence to relevant policies, managing risks, and ensuring the integrity of the capture process.
As The Ideal Candidate You Will Bring
- Proven experience in capture management, bid management, or business development within the Australian Defence industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with experience in proposal writing and development.
- Experience in developing and executing capture strategies whilst adhering to program budgets.
- Proven understanding of Australian Defence/Government Agency acquisition processes combined with an appreciation of capability solution elements (e.g., scope, cost, and schedule).
- Proven track record in building pipelines and achieving success.
All candidates will be required to hold and maintain an active Negative Vetting 1 Defence Security Clearance. Only candidates holding an NV1 Clearance or above should apply.
