The Team:

The Clarence and Eastern Community Care Team is based in Rosny Park, and provides mental health care as part of a larger system to people (both voluntary and involuntary) in the community. The team works closely with other mental health services to deliver compassionate, accountable, respectful and excellent care.

The Role:

This role provides leadership to a multidisciplinary team that provides extended hours care to the community. It is a pivotol role in a changing environment in delivering mental health care.

You will need:

* Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary evidence based mental health service provision and extensive post-graduate clinical service delivery experience in the context of a multidisciplinary mental health team.
* Significant high level management experience in a community mental health setting and the capacity to provide leadership and vision to instil the principles and goals of Mental Health Services’ Strategic Plan.
* An understanding of, and capacity to implement, change management processes and strategies to assist in the transition to the model of care specified in the Service Blueprint and associated reform documents.

Details of appointment:

Permanent full time, day worker (with on-call) position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary: $143,677 to $145,595 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

* Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No. 2 of 2022

Salary Packaging:

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.

Eligibility:

Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria.

Occupational Therapist:

* Registered with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia; or

Social Worker:

* Tertiary qualification/program of study approved by the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
* Full member of AASW or Eligible for membership with the AASW; [chose one option depending on any regulatory requirements to be met for the role] or

Psychologist:

* Registered with the Psychology Board of Australia

*Registration/licences that are essential requirements of this role must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role and the status of these may be checked at any time during employment. It is the employee’s responsibility to ensure that registration/licences remain current and to advise the Employer if their circumstances change. This includes notifying the Employer if a registration/licence is revoked, cancelled or has its conditions altered.
