Assistant Property Manager

McGrath Greater Springfield is growing, and we’re looking for an Assistant Property Manager to support our busy property management team while learning, developing, and building a long-term career in real estate.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with great energy, a positive mindset, and a genuine interest in becoming a successful Property Manager in their own right. You’ll be supported by an experienced team and given exposure to all aspects of property management, with a clear pathway to managing your own portfolio.
About the role
In this role, you’ll assist across all areas of property management and leasing, with the mindset that you’re learning the full end-to-end process.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting Property Managers with day-to-day portfolio management
* Assisting with leasing tasks, including applications, open homes and tenant enquiries
* Communicating with landlords, tenants and trades
* Coordinating maintenance and follow-ups
* Conducting routine inspections
* Administrative support, data entry and file management
* Learning systems, legislation and best-practice property management processes

Essential requirements
* Current Queensland Certificate of Registration (Real Estate)
* Valid driver’s licence
* Some experience in real estate or property management (preferred but not essential for the right person)
* A genuine desire to build a career in property management, with the goal of managing your own portfolio
