Salary starting from $62,657.40 up to $72,683.00
Council is seeking a Fleet Systems Officer to join our team on a temporary basis until September 2024 .
Located in the beautiful Southern Highlands of NSW, 1.5 hours south-west of Sydney - Wingecarribee Shire Council is working to create and nurture a vibrant & diverse community in harmony with the region's urban, agricultural & natural environments.
About the Role
This role provides administration support to Council’s Fleet area, in relation to scheduling of Plant & Fleet services and repairs, monitoring ongoing utilisation and Procurement and Purchasing requirements.
Essential Criteria
1. Certificate IV in Business Administration or other related discipline, or extensive experience (minimum of four years) in a similar role.
2. Demonstrated high level experience in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
3. Demonstrated experience in the use of Databases, with high level knowledge of system front end administrator/data entry and basic knowledge of system back-end components.
4. Demonstrated experience prioritising and scheduling tasks, particularly in a mechanical workshop environment.
5. Experience in a mechanical workshop environment (or equivalent), with knowledge of workshop spare parts.
6. Demonstrated ability to apply attention to detail and accuracy to work tasks.
7. Sound communication (both written and verbal) skills.
8. Demonstrated experience in being able to implement and carry out instructions without further supervision.
9. Current NSW Drivers Licence (Class C).
Desirable Criteria
10. Knowledge of Council’s Financial and Fleet Management Software – Finance One and Ausfleet
11. Qualifications or relevant experience in Fleet / Workshop Management
12. Local Government experience
