Responsibilities
* Providing technical leadership, strategic advice, and coordination of resources on a diverse range of projects in the water sector, including advanced water treatment and desalination plants, wastewater treatment, recycling, and waste-to-energy facilities.
* Delivering various and significant Victorian, Australian and international water and wastewater treatment projects, by understanding clients' needs, providing technical guidance and support to the project team for medium to large scale projects with capex over $1b
* Assist in the development of other staff through mentoring, appropriate supervision, and training
* Assisting the Business Group Leader and senior staff in identifying and realising business opportunities and setting future directions for the group
* Leading project design and delivery of technical reports and specifications, client proposals and presentations
Qualifications
* 15 or more years of experience in an engineering role
* Expert knowledge in either water treatment, desalination, wastewater treatment or waste-to-energy
* Leadership and collaboration skills, along with a willingness and ability to mentor and provide direction to junior staff
* Willingness to contribute to and lead business development activities backed by an active professional network
* Excellent listening and communication skills along with exceptional relationship and networking skills
