This is a great chance to work as a Diesel Mechanic in our small, dedicated Workshop Team based in Sunbury. You will play a key role in maintaining and repairing a diverse fleet of heavy machinery, ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently on-site.
About the Role
* Maintain and repair diesel engines and hydraulic systems for heavy machinery and vehicles
* Carry out scheduled maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and reduce downtime
* Troubleshoot faults using technical expertise and problem-solving skills
* Keep accurate maintenance records and follow workshop safety protocols to ensure compliance
* Work closely with operations and site teams to minimize delays and optimize workflow
Requirements
* Achieved Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent qualification
* Proven experience working with heavy machinery in construction or earthmoving environments
* Strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics, and diagnostics principles
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a small team
* Self-motivated with a proactive attitude and strong problem-solving skills
* Preferably holds HR license, but not essential
