Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Engineer to join our team and play a key role in delivering high-voltage infrastructure projects. Our ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, constructing, commissioning, and maintaining high-voltage substations and associated power system equipment.
The successful applicant will possess tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience. They will also have project expertise in high voltage substation design from concept to commissioning including knowledge of industry standards.
About the Role:
* Provide leadership and technical direction for work undertaken.
* Maintain a knowledge and understanding of trends in engineering design, project management, and contract administration.
* Monitor project efficiency by reviewing performance against budget and implement actions to ensure targets are met.
* Evaluate cost-effective solutions by providing technical input into outputs reviewed for accuracy according to company standards operation.
