This role is a key opportunity to contribute to the strategic development and governance of policing in the ACT. We are seeking a skilled professional to lead and support our teams in providing critical advice on law reforms, coordinating responses to information requests, and maintaining our Governance Instrument Framework.
The successful applicant will have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and deliver high-quality outcomes. They will be responsible for analysing and synthesising new information, and developing solutions to complex problems.
The team is comprised of five teams: Governance and Compliance, National Forums, Budget Policy and Projects, Legislation and Policy, and Performance Statistics. Senior Team members are responsible for leading bodies of work through to finalisation, while assisting the Team Leader in managing, developing and providing guidance to a small team.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and qualifications:
* Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field
* Relevant qualification or extensive experience and knowledge in area of expertise
Additional requirements include being an Australian Citizen at the time of application, and having a Negative Vetting 1 (Secret) security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
