Earthworks Labourers
Are you looking to start a rewarding career in the earthworks construction industry? We're seeking enthusiastic individuals who are eager to learn and grow with us. With hands-on training and development, this role offers the potential to advance into machine operations with plenty of opportunities for career growth.
Responsibilities
* Perform General Labouring duties on civil, commercial and residential earthworks construction sites
* Operate and assist with the use of machinery such as rollers, plate compactors, water carts and dump trucks (if licensed)
* Setting out new jobs
* Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards
* Maintain tools and equipment in good working order
* Work efficiently as a part of a team under the direction of site supervisors or project managers
Ideal candidates
* Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team to ensure projects are completed on time
* Willingness to learn and gain new skills
* Strong work ethic (someone who sees a future in earthworks and wants to grow with us)
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Strong reliability and punctuality is essential
* Previous labouring experience - Desirable
* Construction White Card
