About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineering Leader to join and lead our well-established and expanding Community Development team in Newcastle, Australia.
Key Responsibilities
* Leverage advanced expertise in Geotechnical Engineering to lead the delivery of high-quality, technically sound projects that meet both client expectations and Stantec's standards for profitability, scheduling, and quality.
* Provide leadership to teams to ensure alignment to company vision, strategy, initiatives, and culture.
* Support Business Leader with monitoring and reporting on the performance of the teams.
* Initiate and manage business development opportunities, actively participate in and lead client service through establishing and maintaining strong relationships.
Requirements
* Minimum of 10 years' Geotechnical Engineering experience.
* Minimum of 5 years' related work, leadership, financial management and consulting experience; or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
* A broad range of skills covering people management, business development, project delivery and business management.
